The average SAT Composite score for a freshman accepted at Yale is 1515. The average SAT Math subscore is 770, while the SAT ERW average is 750. Most students score in the 700s or higher on their subscores. 88.4% of all accepted students had at least a 700 in Math, and 86.0% of students had at least a 700 in ERW. According to their website, Yale is test-optional for the 2021-22 admission cycle. This means you don’t have to submit SAT test results. If you do submit scores, then Yale will take them into consideration.
