So you’ve done all the prep, taken the ACT exam, but now you have to wait… How long until your scores come out? According to the official ACT website, your multiple-choice scores are usually available about two weeks after your exam date. However, it may take as early as ten days or as long as eight weeks for you to receive your scores. If you took the ACT essay during your exam, writing scores are normally available about two weeks after your multiple-choice score. Below is a table with all potential score release dates for the 2021-2022 scheduled ACT exams.

High school seniors may be wondering when colleges receive their ACT scores. Unfortunately, this time varies based on the college. If you requested ACT send your scores to certain schools, they should receive them shortly after your report is available. However, ACT doesn’t list specific dates on its website. If you realize you need to send your score to a new school, you can do so through your MyACT account. Requests are processed as soon as your complete test score is ready.
