In the midst of standardized exam season, many of you might be wondering what your options for taking the ACT this year are, more specifically in June. Keep reading for this year’s national June ACT test date, as well as important deadlines to keep in mind!
For June 2026, the official ACT National test dates are Saturday June 13, 2026 and Sunday June 14, 2026. Though ACT’s official “National Test Date Calendar” publishes only the Saturday date, to improve availability, ACT has in fact begun to offer Sunday testing, even without special accommodations or religious reasons, at many testing sites. Some testing sites may only offer Saturday or Sunday testing, however.
The deadline for registering—registration is open now—is May 8, 2026. Finally, make sure to keep in mind that the deadline for any changes, late registration, and regular cancellation is May 29, 2026! Please note that additional fees may apply for registering late.
The initial scores will be released on June 23, 2026 for this test date.
Also note that site availability may vary according to the options you select. If you have trouble finding available seats near you, we recommend you try a different method or option (Paper vs. Computer, Writing vs. no Writing, Science vs. no Science) to increase the availability of sites.
If you have accommodations, you may test on a different date in a particular testing window that includes these dates, which will be available for you to see upon registration. Accommodations may result in a delay in reporting beyond the typical score release date.
